Mind-Body and Nervous System Regulation
Our current standard care health model has systematically siloed each system and function of the body, creating isolated physical and mental health domains. As a result, patients often require a team of specialists—each focusing on a single area of the body or mind. This fragmented method fails to honor the body as a synergistic organism, where the mind and body are deeply interconnected.
Mind-body work and nervous system regulation are common missing pieces in the root-cause healing puzzle.
What Is Mind-Body Work and Nervous System Regulation?
The mind and body are deeply interconnected, and chronic stress can disrupt the nervous system, affecting how we perceive and respond to the world. Over time, this imbalance can lead to physical symptoms, emotional challenges, and even a breakdown in the body’s ability to heal itself.
Mind-body work connects mental, emotional, and physical health, recognizing how thoughts, emotions, and stress impact well-being. Using a wide range of therapies, techniques, and practices, it helps release tension, process emotions, and shift the body out of chronic stress patterns.
Nervous system regulation restores balance to the autonomic nervous system, preventing chronic fight, flight, or freeze responses. Mind-body practices promote resilience, helping the body respond to stress and return to a state of calm for optimal root-cause healing.

Your Mind-Body Work Timeline
Our mind-body program, Wholeness Method, is a 12-week comprehensive curriculum with a year of access to fully experiment and implement each technique and practice. Learning and experimenting with each tool varies, with some being as quick as a few minutes and others a few weeks. The more consistent you are with mind-body work, the more results you’ll experience. We recommend dedicating at least an hour a week during the active program to learn the new tools and at least 10 minutes a day for your personalized mind-body routine.Â
Symptom relief can be experienced immediately with some of these tools, while others will require consistent practice over months to experience subtle shifts and benefits over time. The more you put into your mind-body work, the more you’ll get out of it.
